The St. Patty's Day Parade is always a big deal for Dallas. Streets blocked off, large groups of people... I should have known better and stayed home but I was determine to be a "normal" pregnant woman and not sit in the house on a beautiful Saturday.
Evan and his close friend, Brad, had made St. Patty's Day shirts, "Irish I was drunk" and a Charlie Sheen shirt, "Sheen me something..." and were selling them outside the CVS when I lost everyone except a few friends who were moving down the block. I'm walking around looking for Evan when I stepped off a curb and fell on my ankle!!!! I am so grateful to my good friends who stayed with me for over 30 minutes while we tried to locate Evan who was not picking up his phone...
I am now sitting on the couch, my foot elevated and iced, watching, "Band of Brothers". I wish that I was OFF the couch enjoying the day with friends. I wish my foot would stop hurting!
Worst of all, I was wearing the very same sneakers I was wearing when I broke my foot in August. Does this mean I am going to have twins now?! Just Kidding :-)
